Outside of the Richmond Tigers and overpriced smoothies, Daniel’s real passion is for the media.

With roles at Network Ten, ESPN and Rock SM Daniel knows what it takes to connect with audiences in the 2017 media landscape.

He has recently finished a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at RMIT University. Prior to this he completed a Bachelor of Film & Television at Swinburne University.

Daniel’s areas of interest include sport, technology, film, television, music and trivia.

He is particularly passionate about broadcast journalism, especially television and radio.

RMIT University, Graduate Diploma in Journalism

As part of his post-graduate studies Daniel developed a variety of skills that will assist him in a career as a journalist. The course has taught him interviewing skills and techniques, key writing skills suitable for journalism practice, and the development of vital communication skills.

2012 – 2014
Swinburne University, Bachelor of Film and Television

Within this practical course, Daniel received training in dealing with all stages of the complex production schedule. Key areas covered included scriptwriting, cinematography and editing.

2010 – 2011
Kangan Institute, Certificate III in Interactive Digital Media (VET)

While still at high school Daniel learnt various applicable skills relevant to digital media platforms. The learning within this course dealt predominently with mastering all aspects of the Adobe Creative Cloud software.

2006 – 2011
Completed VCE at Buckley Park College

Daniel graduated in 2011 with an ATAR score of 91.20. Throughout his high school years he was an active participant of extra-curricular activities, such as serving on debating teams, sporting teams and contributing to various performing arts activities.
